  • Nautilus series from GradConn is a premium range of dust and waterproof coaxial cable assemblies. With IP67 & IP68 ratings, Nautilus products offer protection from moisture and particle ingress, both mated and unmated.

    Working in conjunction with customers this range of waterproof interface connectors is constructed with internal seal and O-Ring, which prevents ingress thru the inner contact and thru the panel. The connectors have been tested to IP6x, IPx7, IPx8 for both 1 and 5 metres underwater, perfect for applications in demanding harsh environments.

  • Compact EMC filters with extremely low leakage current


  • The B84142A*166 series from TDK is a series of 2-line EMC filters designed for rated currents of 10A, 16A, and 30A at a rated voltage of 250VAC (50/60Hz). These filters are very compact in size: the 10A and 16A types measure only 84.5x52x38mm, and the 30A version only 130x84x69mm. This permits mounting even when space is very limited.

    Another feature of the B84142A*166 is its extremely low leakage current of less than 0.5mA and 1.8mA. This prevents unintentional tripping of ground fault circuit interrupters (also known as residual current devices). In addition to their compact size, these filters offer a very high insertion loss of up to more than 100dB.

    The new filters meet the requirements for climate category 25/100/21, IEC 60068-1 and protection class IP00. The filters can be operated without derating at ambient temperatures of up to 50°C. Approvals to EN, UL and CSA are pending. Applications for the new EMC filters include converters and power electronics systems.

  • Active RFID sensors for Identification, measurement and tracking


  • ELA Innovation develops readers and active RFID tags to monitor goods for the tracking of tools and equipment in the logistics industry, as well as man-down alarm technology. Its activities hinge around the research & development, manufacturing and sales of high range active RFID solutions, industrial wireless sensors and connected objects.

    ELA’s greatest growth has been in the deployment of ’telematics solutions’ for trucks and trailers, in which data about goods and drivers is transmitted via wireless sensors and tags to a reader, and is then forwarded by a cellular connection, such as the
    FOX3 from Falcom, to a back-end server.

    The systems are used to identify the conditions of goods within a trailer, along with the open or closed status of the trailer door. This information is paired with GPS-based data, collected by a user’s automatic vehicle location box (such as the FOX3 from Falcom) and sent to a server. This way users can receive alerts of the unexpected opening of a trailer or the breaching of an accepted temperature range within the trailer.

  • Prevent data loss in SSD with iCell Technology


  • iCell is a smart data protection technology that is built into Innodisk’s SSDs. iCell is vital for mission-critical applications, where working under extreme conditions and without backup power is unavoidable.
    The iCell technology provides a mechanism to instantaneously discharge data stored in temporary volatile DRAM buffers to flash storage, to ensure the safety of data during power failures.

    To a large extent, the one crucial question for any mechanism is how fast its SSD can discharge all of its data to flash storage within the time provided, right before total power failure. To ensure that there is ample time for all of the data to be discharged.
    Innodisk’s iCell Technology is engineered with several capacitors on the IC board to provide 58ms more of a power buffer (which is crucial for large data with an average power buffer of 2ms only). With iCell Technology, Innodisk SSDs can write up to 15MB of data to flash storage in 60ms.
