Miniature UWB-BLE smart module with built-in antennas
Are you searching for a global coverage UWB/ BLE solution? Try the ISP3080 from Insight SiP! This module supports the BLE frequency band at 2.4 GHz and the UWB frequency band at 6.5/ 8.0 GHz. A fully functioning UWB/ BLE node can be created with just power.
The Ultra-Wide Band & Bluetooth Low Energy module, with a spatial resolution better than 10cm, offers interoperability via conformance to the FiRa standard. This allows UWB connections both to other vendors’ FiRa-compatible chipsets and UWB-equipped mobile phones. Ultra-low power can be achieved by using a combination of Bluetooth and the integrated accelerometer to switch on the UWB transceiver only when necessary.
The ISP3080 integrates a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4F CPU, 512 kB flash memory, 128 kB RAM and offers a wide range of peripherals including 15+8 GPIOs, ADC, SPI, UART, PDM, I2C, etc.
These modules are not in mass production, several certifications are pending. For engineering samples, make sure to send us a sample request.
