Avalue’s ACP-3566-PI and ACP-IMX8-PI industrial-grade SBCs are fully Raspberry Pi hardware-compatible, supporting MIPI, GPIO, and HATs. Powered by NXP i.MX8M or Rockchip SoCs, they’re built for a wide range of edge computing and IoT applications.
In addition to the choice of processor the SBCs share some similarities, but also differ in design details. Certain ports, such as the USB Type-C power input, are positioned differently.
The ACP-3566-PI includes a USB-connected daughterboard for Wi-Fi, whereas the ACP-IMX8-PI has the capability to support Wi-Fi but does not include it by default. Their operating temperature also differs: the ACP-IMX8-PI is specified for -20° to +70°C operation, making it suitable for harsher environments.
Both Single Board Computers (SBCs) come with a 40-pin GPIO header enabling seamless integration with Pi-based modules, supporting rich expansion interfaces such as RS232/485, GPIO, SPI and I2C and a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port.
Avalue ensures industrial-grade validation, long life cycle guarantee and sufficient supply for both boards.
