VARTA’s Application Specific Batteries (ASB) are designed for small and medium-sized vehicles like AGV and robotics. Featuring modular and expandable Lithium-Ion batteries, they’re adaptable to various applications, offering a scalable range from 0.58kWh to 37.5kWh. The EasyPro series use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) for enhanced safety and long cycle life, while the EasyBlade and EasyBlade Baby series utilizes Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide (NMC) with an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) for high energy density. These ASBs are ready-to-use solutions, complete with necessary certifications and accessories.

Ready-to-use battery pack
It can be difficult to find a battery pack that is dependable, powerful, and scalable for AGV applications. Luckily, VARTA has the EasyBlade, which is a pre-built battery pack with a BMS (battery management system) that is designed for automated guided vehicles. The pack comes with all the necessary certifications for global transport and immediate use in AGVs, making it easy to integrate. Additionally, the pack is readily available off-the-shelf, and with the ability to scale up to 25 packs in parallel, it can quickly bring an AGV to market with full cost transparency.

The VARTA EasyBlade Baby 24V is a compact, high-energy-density battery pack specifically designed for automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and other applications where space is at a premium. This pre-built battery pack integrates a Battery Management System (BMS) and CAN-Bus communication for easy integration and high reliability. It is designed to meet stringent safety standards and is certified for global transport.
With a typical energy capacity of 439 Wh and a nominal voltage of 25.2 V, the EasyBlade Baby 24V offers robust performance in a lightweight and compact form factor. Its modular design allows for easy connection of up to 25 modules in parallel, providing scalability for various power requirements.
A heavy duty CAN-Bus enabled 3000Wh modular battery
VARTA’s Application Specific Batteries provide customers with industrial-grade batteries that meet demanding power and intelligence requirements. The EasyPro is a modular Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP/ LiFePO4) battery with >3000Wh per module, featuring CAN-Bus technology that enables easy connection of up to 25 modules in parallel. Its versatility makes it ideal for use in robots, AGVs, AMRs, material handling, agricultural equipment, and industrial mowers. The EasyPro delivers dependable, high-capacity batteries that meet the needs of various industries. The VARTA EasyPro is available on request in a 48 Voltage version with a power of 3.072Wh and a nominal capacity of 60 Ah.
