Precise navigation beyond GNSS
Based in Montréal, Canada, OSCP develops advanced inertial measurement units for applications where accurate motion sensing and navigation need to continue when GNSS is unavailable or unreliable. OSCP combines MEMS sensing with integrated photonic gyro technology to achieve high stability in compact, low-power IMUs. Its technology is designed for demanding applications such as autonomous systems, robotics, aerospace, defence, marine and industrial equipment. By bringing optical rotation sensing onto a photonic chip, OSCP offers an alternative to larger traditional optical gyroscopes while retaining the performance advantages of light-based sensing.
Why OSCP?
OSCP develops compact inertial measurement units for applications where accurate motion sensing must continue when GNSS is unavailable or unreliable. By combining photonic gyro technology with MEMS sensors, OSCP delivers high stability with lower size, weight and power than traditional optical gyro solutions.
Its IMUs are designed for demanding environments and offer strong resistance to shock, vibration and electromagnetic interference. This makes them suitable for autonomous systems, robotics, aerospace, defence, marine and industrial applications. Designed and manufactured in Canada, OSCP’s MK2 products are also ITAR-free, supporting easier integration into international projects.
